1-1/2 story, steep pitch gable roof, raised bsmt, side hall plan & entry, 28'2-1/8"x29'1-1/8". 2 brick exterior end chimneys on E Elev w/ wood sided chimney pents btwn & at end of chimneys, centered below grade bsmt entry in center chimney pent. || Typical Tidewater Region housing used as field headquarters by Union Gen. Fitz-John Porter June 27, 1862 during Seven Days Battle. Later served as field hospital.
