1 of 6 Monuments to Indiana. Indicates scene of charge into Confederate line morning July 3, 1863. LF&RF markers located 313' & 270' SW & S of Mn, respectively. Position marker located in Meadow. Mn N side Colgrove Avenue. || Mn, 2 flank, 1 position. Mn base 4'sq. 2 part shaft, 1st smooth w/polished excised lettering, 2nd smooth/polished w/incised lettering 3 sides, bronze tablet 4th. Flemish cross gable & pryamid cap. All 7'9"H. Flanks 1'sq x1'2"H, Pos. 1'sq x 2'H.
