Today we had a copule of shows wich were really good. They were slightly old pictures. One was Five Came Back. An airplane crash pictures. The other Priorities on Parade. you have probably seen both of them. A picture show here is really a luxury. It keeps us in contact with the rest of the world. Radio helps quite a bit too, so does books and magazines. I have finished last months, Time, Liberty, Life, American and the Saturday Evening Post. I have finished a quite a few novels too so far. I never new [sic] I could take so much enjoyment out of reading. I imagine you read quite a bit too. Don't you.
Well Pay day will roll around. The government will send a Fifty Dollar check home instead of ten. So look out for it. What am I going to do with all that money now when I get back. What do you think of the"
