Tumacácori Mission Record, page 257 || 87 - José Castro, married to Asunción Pérez, a Pima. In the year of the Lord 1818 on the 10th day of August, José Castro, married to Asunción Pérez, a Pima, he being about seventy years of age, returned his soul to God in the village of Tucson. He received the holy sacraments and was buried on the 11th, according to what I have been advised by the minister of that mission.
