President's Park student volunteer, Elizabeth Smith smiling holding two peace signs.
My name is Elizabeth Smith and I participated in the Presidents Park Photography program. I had been doing art for many years and then decided to take a yearbook class because I thought it would be pretty similar. I started taking a lot of pictures and really enjoyed photography. I wanted to learn more about it with lighting and angles while also being able to learn more about editing. I liked learning about different techniques and then going out and practicing them. I liked learning how to take pictures that tell more of a story while also capturing a specific moment. Going to the parks taught me more about the surrounding areas and the history of places that have been around me while growing up.
