Group 3. Construction photographs for Phase A of the seismic strengthening project for Building 102, Presidio of San Francisco. Construction activities occurred in two periods: demolition & minor work October 2001-May 2002, then Phase A work performed January-December 2012. Phase A focused on reroofing the main building and front and rear porches, including structural elements (steel anchors and strapping, moment frame, blocking, etc.)
Work was performed through an Interagency Agreement (F8151-01-0001) between the National Park Service and the Presidio Trust. Architectural Resources Group was the architect of record; Plant Construction Company was the general contractor for the Presidio Trust.
Building 102 is a contributing structure to the Presidio National Historic Landmark District.
