Moton Field at Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site in 2008 and 2009
Moton Airfield is over 88 acres and contains several historic structures and cultural landscape features including. The site preserves and interprets World War II military pilot training, particularly the 20th Century struggle by African Americans to participate in the military. These images depict the status of recent preservation and construction work. The set also documents site drainange issues to be addressed and location for proposed exhibits in Hangar Two.
