Inscription: "Ole Bull" written in pencil probably by Alice Mary Longfellow verso. "To / Alice Longfellow / from / Sara Bull. / Elmwood. / Dec 26th [18]84." written in ink verso. Photographer's imprint includes "Mora / 707 Broadway, N.Y."
Notes: C1870 because of sitter's apparent age. Sara Bull, Ole's wife and sister-in-law to Anne Allegra Longfellow Thorp, gave this photograph to Alice Mary Longfellow.
