Water damage to Ebenezer Church at Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park in October 2009
Plaster in the basement (Fellowship Hall) of Ebenezer Baptist Church is being damaged by water intrusion. It is occuring in the northwest corner of the room, but so far not in the staircase just to the north of the basement. Several blocks drain through storm-sewers toward the adjacent catch-basin, and about half of the block drains on the surface toward this basin.
the only drain in the parking area, just beyond SW corner of King Center
