Transcribed document reads: [newspaper clipping] Notice for Publiction. LAND OFFICE AT KINGFISHER, O. T. ) August, 25 1893.) Notice is hereby given that the following-named settler has filed notice of his intention to make final proof in support of his claim and that said proof will be made before Register and Receiver at Kingfisher on October 9, 1893, viz: CALVIN BEUFORD 5887 for the lot 4 Section 30 Town 18, Range 5, West. He names the following witnesses to prove his continuous residence upon and cultivation of, said land, viz: Anthony Overton, Scott Fox, Casper Beuford, Alexander Hence all of Wanamaker, O.T. J. C. Roberts Regester. Publisher’s Affidavit. [crossed out JAS. L. ADMIRE] S D Russell, being duly sworn, says that he is the editor of the [crossed out KINGFISHER TIMES] Oklahoma Constitution, a weekly newspaper having a general circulation, published at the City of Kingfisher, Oklahoma Territory, and that the annexed notice of Calvin Burford was published in said paper six consecutive issues, and in the paper proper, not in any supplement ; that it was first published on the [day left blank] day of Aug.1893 and last published on the 30 day of Sept. 1893.
