Cedar Shake Decay 12 2009 Glacier Bay National Park Canoe Shelter
GLBA Bartlett Cove Interpretive Structure - Tlingit Canoe Shelter. The cedar shakes on the back of this shelter, where it is shaded and protected from wind by confers, have degraded to the point of failure. The car deck roof sheathing around the margins of the shelter has also suffered water damage.
