The retirement of John P. Hauanio Sr., from a custodial position after more than 18 years of service in Hawaii National Park was marked by a dinner on February 18. Superintendent Wosky presented Mr. Hauanio with the Interior Department Certificate of Honor Award and Citation for Commendable Service together with a medal, lapel button, and a lifetime pass to the 180 areas administered by the National Park Service.
