The Edison Phonograph Monthly was issued to Edison dealers from March 1903 – December 1916 (166 issues). Issues feature lists of new Edison record releases including song titles, and artists. Advertisements, background information on Edison artists, and business details are also often featured.
The 1908 Edison Phonograph Monthly issues include Volume 6 No. 1 – Volume 6 No. 12.
Volume 6, No. 3, March 1908: Includes an article on Thomas Edison’s 61st birthday dinner.
Volume 6, No. 4, April 1908: Includes information on Edison getting an operation on one ear and leaving for his home in Fort Myers, Florida.
Volume 6, No. 11, November 1908: Includes an article on Thomas Edison’s first public record – a phonograph speech played at The Electrical Show held at Madison Square Garden in New York.
