The blockhouse, 50 feet square, reveals two levels, the water cistern, and powder magazine by means of cutaway or transparent wall treatments. Furnishings are indicated and the back wall face exposes the construction techniques. For the NPS Photoshop derivative HFC staff designer Angie Faulkner corrected the fort cutaway per park information of 5/99 by removing the vertical porch supports on the second level, adding cantilevered porch supports from the masonry, and modifying the three keyhole ports under and beside the porch and door as well as overall lightening of the image.
Only the National Park Service (NPS) digital derivative is considered accurate. The government retains the option of access through the contractor to his dimensional model and working file data. In the event that future research or other NPS offices have need to update or create derivative images, the previous body of developmental work may be utilized under separate purchase orders at considerable savings in both cost and time.; Abbr=PUB
