Brown bat fossil on tan stone. The edge of the stone is visible top left and bottom left where the stone broke through the tip of the bat's left wing. The face is turned left and a scapula is in the middle of the open mouth looking almost like a tongue.
This bat fossil, Icaronycteris gunnelli, was found in the summer of 2021. Specimen is approximately 9 cm tall. Catalog number FOBU17689.
