United Order of Tents - Letter from A.P. Straughter
United Order of Tents - Letter from A.P. Straughter
Accompanied a payment of $43.50 for an outfit requested to be sent to her in Ronceverte, West Virginia, by May 29th. She mentions that they have a large club and she is organizing a number of clubs. She also mentions that she had hoped that Lulu J.B. Moors would take on the position of "R.B." but for some reason she can not be initiated. She asks for Walker to advise her about this problem. This letter is numbered the same as other letters regarding Walker's work with the United Order of Tents. It is likely that this letter is also referring to the Tents though they are never mentioned by name and the letter is not dated.
