Mechanical fuels reduction at Big Cypress National Preserve, 2002
Hazardous fuels can be reduced by burning , grazing or mechanical treatment such as handcrews using saws or equipment such as masicators or grinders. Big Cypress used a Gyro Trac to reduce brushy fuels in 2002.
