Lonicera Canadensis (American Fly Honey-Suckle) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved biological specimen on paper.

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Three Samples On The Page. They Are All A Section Of Branch Which Has Been Cleanly Cut From The Rest Of The Plant. The First Sample Splits Into Two Sections. Each Terminate In Four Leaves And Several Pairs Of Flower Blossoms. The Other Two Samples Are Smaller. They Have Larger Leaves Though, And At A Least One Berry Attached Instead Of Flowers. There Are Two Colored Drawings. One Details The Leaf With Two Flowers. The Other Details The Leaf With Two Berries. Both Were Done By Elsie May Kittredge.
