Anne Allegra Longfellow Thorp sits and reads in a rowboat resting on a marsh on Charles River. Notes: C1896 as Joseph Gilbert Thorp Jr. gives the date "Feb. 22 1896" on the negative box. He also wrote "Cha[ ] River" on the box. Other Medfield landmarks are in the box, and the Charles River flows through Medfield.
