Century plant (Agave missionum)

Century plant is a perennial herb with prickly edged leaves with sharp spine and the tip. is common in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. John. the flower is a panicle 15 to 24 feet tall with large yellow flowers clusters on the top half. The population has been greatly reduced due to the introduction of a weevil.
