A stone patio, stone wall, and interpretive plaque characterize the overlook.
Bluffs Lodge - Doughton Park. The overlook at Wildcat Rocks was built in 1939, and it consists of a stone retaining wall, a flagstone patio, and an interpretive plaque for the Caudill Cabin in Basin Cove below. The wall and patio exhibit rustic style stone material and workmanship of the early parkway construction. The overlook continues to contribute to the historical significance of the parkway.
