Sidewalk near main entrance at the Southeast Regional Office in October 2008
Front entrance to the 1924 Building [actually dated "MCMXXIII" (1923) above the entrance], Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 100 Alabama Street, SW, Atlanta, Georgia. The Southeast Regional Office occupies the 5th and 6th Floors. This record shows the hazardous sidewalk condition that dates to around 2004 when a work crew checked the water line under the sidewalk, and then failed to replace the brick properly. The barriers were put up before Autumn 2007 and perhaps sometime in 2006. The window display shows the Rich's Department Store "Pink Pig" which for years was installed as a children's ride on the roof of the building during the Christmas shopping season. A secondary entrance bears the date "MDCCCLXVII" (1867, when Rich's was founded). 33°45'12.2"N, 84°23'31.6"W
