Monument contributes to national significance of park under NR Criterion A because it represents the national movement among veterans & related groups to commemorate Civil War battlefields. || 9' x 5' x 8', the rock-face monument of blue Westerly granite has a one-piece base and round-topped slab with a bronze base relief panel of soldiers at a bridge. Unit information is inscribed above the relief panel.
