Eleanor Roosevelt’s aunt, Maude Livingston Hall Waterbury Gray (1877-1952), at around age 5. After the death of her parents Eleanor lived with her aunts and uncles in her grandmother’s home. Maud was the youngest of Eleanor's maternal aunts & uncles – just 7 years older than her niece.
