Athletes compete in cross-country skiing events at Brandywine Ski Resort in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. These pictures feature the adult athletes. || 2007 was the 25th anniversary of Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Special Olympics Ohio partnering to offer the Ohio Winter Special Olympics. Skiing events are held within the national park. Ice skating events are at Kent State Ice Arena. Special Olympics is an international organization dedicated to empowing individuals with intellectual disabilities to become productive, physically fit, and respected members of society through sports training and competition.
