Copper Kettle (FOUS 98273)
Copper kettle.
Repurposing metal objects into new and useful items was a common practice among the different Northern Plains tribes that traded at Fort Union. This metal kettle bottom appears to have a section of it cut out as if for reuse. Could the cut-out piece have been used to make an arrowhead?
