Inside the Earth Lodge
Watercolor pencil drawing of the inside of the Earth Lodge viewed from the entrance. At the bottom, center of the page is an empty firepit molded out of the clay floor with a white conch shell to the right. On the upper half of the page or two large wooden posts that rise out of view on either side of the head of the bird of prey effigy. At the base of the effigy are three notches in the clay. Either side of the effigy are raised clay seats. The whole image is blended in colors of brown, orange, yellow, and red.
