The park's newest memorial commemorates Brig. Gen. Thomas Meagher's Irish Brigade (63rd, 69th & 88th NY regiments, 29th Mass.) of the 2nd Brigade, 1st Div., II Corps who assailed the entrenched Confederates at "Bloody Lane."
