On front of document:“Mr RP Hunt Sir we have forwarded a Small Lot of your Goods which arrived here from N.Y Per Sloop Randolph (Troy & Erie Line) and consigned the same to Mr I Benedick Montezuma who will forward the same to you the articles are comprised in the following list together with the [illegible] viz 1 Bbl Liqour 2.20 Box [illegible] 0.1.0.0.2.3.0 [Sereil?] Rice 6.1.14 2 Beks Yarn 1.1.0 ea 8.3.14 1 Big [illegible] 1.1.0 1.1.0 [Troy?] 0.12.3.14 The above are Ship’d in good order by Canal Boat Fair Chance of Jordan Capt Squires at 4 1/2 cts pr ton Per mile at the time of shipping the above there was no Boat going through the Lake that they could be forwarded directly to yourPlace.
