Fog shrouds the mountains on Newfound Gap Road

Fall colors on mountainsides are muted by fog

Fall colors were very vivid at higher elevations along Newfound Gap Road in the middle of October. This photo was taken at the Morton Overlook, near the crest of the mountains.
