Pictured Rocks Cliffs are streaked with reds and oranges and black colors. These are caused by minerals seeping through the sandstone rock. A crack is visible stretching from the top to the bottom of a cliff section. Broken pieces of the cliff are at the base of the vertical wall of rock.
