Lockwood House Spur Trail existing conditions from the Appalachian Trail in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. 9/21/09

Description:

The Lockwood House spur trail is unsafe due to natural erosion factors. The Park has received a grant through CTTP (Connect Trails To Parks). Work will begin in June 2010 to lay stone steps on the eroding trail. This work will be done by volunteers the Potomac Appachian Trail Club sponsored by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
