Invasive plant disposal during River Day 2007 in Cuyahoga Valley National Park
U. S. National Park Service
An SCA intern and NPS Botanist Laura Elze dispose of bags of invasive plants at River Day 2007 || Invasive plants are exotic species that tend to crow out native plants. Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) controls invasive plants when their presence menaces natural conditions. Volunteers hand pull small, easily controllable populations.
