They wear headdresses with buffalo horns. They are standing near or under an arbor of poles covered by cut brush. In the near background are people seated. The photo was taken on the Crow Reservation in Montana. On the card beneath the image, a handwritten note in ink reads: “’No Milk’ and ‘Shorty’. The image was taken by Fred E. Miller circa 1888. It is in good condition.
