Cornus Canadensis (Dwarf Cornel --Bunch-Berry) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved biological specimen on paper.

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Eight Samples, Three Of Which Appear To Be The Entire Plant. These Three Have Roots And A Main Stem Leading To A Cluster Of Leaves At The Apex. Two Of The Three Also Have A Flower Blossom At The Apex While The Last Has A Group Of Berries. Three Other Samples Have A Cluster Of Leaves And A Flower Blossom At The Apex Of The Stem And No Roots. The Last Two Samples Are Stems Without Roots That Only Have Leaves. There Are Two Colored Drawings Of The Plant. They Were Done By Elsie May Kittredge In 1927. One Features A Flower Blossom And The Other Details The Berries.
