Gracie and deer
Park ranger and border collie approach a whitetail deer on a service road.
In winter, Gracie moves deer out of the park's headquarters/residential area. The presence of deer in this populated area attracts mountain lions. Moving the deer into the surrounding woods helps reduce the chance of human/lion conflicts.
