Preservation - Lighthouse Repair

Four people repair a brick wall.

Masonry repairs to Cockspur Island Lighthouse, 2015-16. Fort Pulaski preservationists routinely inspect and repair damage to the lighthouse. Pictured, staff members work with preservation students to repair masonry on the lighthouse steps. This strengthens the foundation of the lighthouse so it can survive for many more years to come.
