USED TO BANG COPPER SHEETS INTO PLACE FROM SCAFFOLDING. HEAD DOES NOT HAVE META<CRL BANDS, INDICATING THAT TI WOULD BE USED FOR AN ARTISTIC MEDIUM SUCH AS REPOUSSE SCULPTUR<CRE. (METAL BANDS WOULD SCRATCH THE SHEET METAL.) HEAD IS MADE OUT OF A TREE SECTION, ROUND<CRED AT BACK AND FLAT OF FACE. HANDLE HAS SEVERAL CRACKS.<CR<CRLYNCH IN ORAL HISTORY FILES.
