Title: Wild Gardens of Acadia in bold; background image is a map of wild gardens paths and planting areas with insets of pictures of native plants
Stroll through the Wild Gardens of Acadia—a living field guide to
native plant communities found from mountaintops to shorelines
in Acadia National Park. Without climbing a peak or slogging through
a marsh, you can see many of the plant communities right here.
Take photographs of your favorite plants and look for them as you
explore the park. Admire fragile orchids and pitcher plants that
are difficult to see in the fragile wetlands. Watch and listen for
creatures that call this garden home.
