Collapse of Dillon Dye Works on Concord River, Dec. 10, 1918
A photo showing a building partially collapsed into the river.
No injuries were reported after the collapse of the building which sits on the east bank of the Concord River. A newspaper account of the incident blamed the swift current of the river and the added turbulence from the river’s intersection with the Pawtucket Canal.
