U.S. National Park Service

Constructed of Barre,VT, granite, the 7' x 3'7" rough-hewn base supports a smooth block with a tapered top; total height is 4'9". It features 2 bas reliefs of crossed rifles & accoutrements. "OHIO" & the inscription are in raised lettering.
