Control Invasive Plants with Student Conservation Corp Team (SCA) along the Blue Ridge Parkway August 2009.
This project funds the placement of a Student Conservation Association (SCA) 'Strike Team' to control invasive, exotic plants along a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway (BLRI). This SCA team trained and mentored by tghe NPS Southeast Exotic Plant management Team (SE EPMT). The SCA team will assist BLRI resource management staff in developing and invasive, exotic plant management program within approximately 16.0 miles of the BLRI from the French Broad River (mm 393) to Craven Gap (mm 377) from 8/2009 through May 2011.
