Prescribed burning monitoring at Theodore Roosevelt National Park
Prescribed burning is used to restore and maintain prairie grasses, control exotic species and reduce fuels. Monitoring of prescrbed fires is important to record if the fire is meeting its objectives and to measure the effectiveness of the burn.
