Images were contracted by the NPS Office of the Chief Information Officer as part of a larger project to add images of all Civil War monuments to the NPS Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System
South Inscription
U.S. National Park Service
6'10" x 3'4" x 5'6" high, the monument consists of a rock-faced base and a round-topped shaft. Face has OHIO in raised letters, carved cannon carriage wheel, crossed sponge staffs, and rock-faced arch voussoirs at top. Carved cannon tubes at sides.
