GOLD MOURNING RING MOUNTED WITH CRYSTAL AND THE PLAITED HAIR OF ABIGAIL ADAMS AND JOHN ADAMS. INSCRIBED, "A.A. 28 OCT. 1818; J.A. 4 JULY 1826".
IN A SMALL BOX WITH LABEL. BOX IS RED WITH ROUNDED TOP, WHITE SATIN INTERIOR, WHITE FELT IN BOTTOM SECTION WITH INSERT FOR RING.
CLOSES WITH SILVER HOOK CLASP.
LABEL ON BOX READS, "JOHN B. JONES, JEWELLER, MARKET STREET, 37 BOSTON".
INSCR: AA 28 OCTOBER 1818 - JA 4 JULY 1826 (ON RING)/JOHN B. JONES, JEWELLER, BOSTON (BOX LABEL).
