YCC Program at Prince William Forest Park Summer 2014
During this program YCC employees from the local community assist with the repair and maintenance of landscape structures in the park such as fences, gates, fire rings, grills, boardwalks, as well as perform trail maintenance. The students also assist with historic structure rehabilitation including minor trades work, painting, and staining. The eight week program also includes a wide variety of environmental education activities accomplished through classroom and outdoor training, educational field trips, and community outreach projects.
