Images were contracted by the NPS Office of the Chief Information Officer as part of a larger project to add images of all Civil War monuments to the NPS Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System
West Bronze Plaque
U.S. National Park Service
The dark gray granite monument consists of a 44" square, tapered base supporting a rectangular pedestal for a height of 72" with the 36" x 24" x 52" bronze bust on top. A bronze plaque is attached to the pedestal.
