The British are coming! The British Army marched into Philadelphia in September 1777. They occupied the city until May 1778. Can you imagine an army taking over your city? Some Philadelphians had to house and feed the British soldiers while they took over the city. Conversation Topic: What if the soldier needed somewhere to live while in your city and you had to share your room with a soldier?
