Uniform Coat of Colonel Simeon B. Gibbons, 10th Virginia Infantry
Color photo of the front of the uniform coat of Colonel Simeon B. Gibbons. The coat is khaki colored and made of a woolen material, with a collar and full-length sleeves. The collar is black and made from a velvet-like material. Down the front of the coat are seven buttons, the first three of which are unfastened. The buttons are circular gold metal and have a small design on them.
Uniform coat of Colonel Simeon Buford Gibbons, 10th Virginia Infantry. Colonel Gibbons was wearing this coat when he was killed on May 8th, 1862 at the Battle of McDowell.
