A rectangular wooden structure has planks around the base and is open around the top.
Nugget Creek. The remains of structures at the Nugget Creek camp, such as the Meat Cache, offer evidence about life during the historic period. This is one of the few structures in the landscape that maintains individual integrity. The building was constructed by nailing planks over an internal frame, with a screened top wall. Canvas hung from a wire to cover the screen. Tar paper was nailed over interior planks, walls, and floor planks. A tree stump near the structure may have been used as a chopping block.
